  Can I buy a domain name from you guys to set up my new site? Do I need the domain name first before I can start creating a site?

  Hi there,

  You can set up a site with a free plan then upgrade to a paid plan with a custom domain at any time. The price of the paid plans includes a domain credit which you can use to set up your custom domain. You can do this all with WordPress.com
