  I have a domain name already, I want to create a website using wordpress then use on another hosting site. Can I do that with wordpress?

  You can create a website and host it here on WordPress.com and map it to your existing domain name. Here are the instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  If you’d rather use a self-hosted WordPress installation, you can host your website elsewhere and point your domain to it from your domain registrar.
