  Hi, my blog name is A Girl’s Life, and I wanted to change my wordpress URL to read agirlslife.wordpress.com but it’s already taken.

  So I looked up the blog that’s using it and it’s not been used since 2007, is there anyway of getting the unused blog changed or closed? Thanks

  The only thing you can do is ask the owner to transfer it. You could try leaving a comment. WordPress.com will never take a domain away from someone due to inactivity, and never recycle names for deleted blogs.

  I would also like to take a deleted blog name. I’ve gone to the page to comment and ask if it is possible but since the blog is deleted I can’t see anywhere to post a comment. Is there anyway to comment on a deleted blog?
