  Hello Would like to know which is better domain mapping or transferring? I currently have G suite cost me $5 per month. Any suggestions please and thanks

  With mapping, the domain remains registered through your current provider. The process creates a connection between the domain and WordPress.com but it will still need to be renewed through them each year:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  Transferring the domain to WordPress.com means it will be registered and renewed through us each year. This option would be better if you want to manage the site and domain in one place:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

  This account hasn’t purchased any G Suite subscriptions, which domain have you already purchased one for?
