  I bought a domain name from go daddy. Can I switch everything to wordpress?

  Yes, of course. You’ll need to pick out which plan is best for your project, experience, and budget. Those are outlined at https://wordpress.com/plans/

  Once that is added you can click on My Sites – Domains – Add and connect the domain from GoDaddy to WordPress.com.

  There’s 2 options to connect the domain.

  1. map it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
  2. transfer it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/
