  how can i put my domain name here if it is already used on wix?

  Howdy –

  There’s 2 options for using a custom domain on WordPress.com. Either way, you’re going to need a free subdomain on the account. Go ahead and get one registered by clicking on My Sites – Domains – Add .

  – domain mapping:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  With this option your domain remains at the current registrar and simply points to your WordPress.com site. Each year you’d need to make sure the mapping (from us) and registration of the domain are renewed.

  – domain transfer:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

  With this option WordPress.com takes over as your domain registrar and everything is renewed through us, once per year.

  Read over both options to see which one seems right for you. There’s no wrong way to go, and nothing is permanent. You can continue to move the domain to other services, etc if you change your mind.
