  Hello,
  I’ve just canceled my Premium plan which came with my domain name. I am purchasing the Business plan and want my domain name to be attached to that plan. How long do I have to wait to reclaim my domain name?

  Hi there,

  If you wanted to change from the Premium Plan to the Business Plan, there was no need to cancel. You could just have upgraded – you would only have been charged the difference in price between the two plans.

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else, or even here again, in future.

  At this point we can still restore the domain to your account, so please go ahead and purchase the Business Plan. Let us know here once you’ve done that, and we can reactivate the domain for you.
