  I registered for a free wordpress site, jessielenhardt.wordpress.com, then needed to redo the site so I deleted it and started the process over. I didn’t realize that by doing this I would lose the domain jessielenhardt.wordpress.com, and I’d like to use that rather than my current jessielenhardt496535908.wordpress.com. Is there any way to get my original jessielenhardt.wordpress.com site back?

  I have tagged this post, so a staff member can take a look. If you are within 30 days of closing that original site, a staff member should be able to help you restore it.

  Deleted sites cannot be restored, and their names cannot be re-used, most of the time. There are several warnings about this throughout the entire process.

  The good news is, your site hasn’t entirely made it to the shredder yet, and https://jessielenhardt.wordpress.com/ has now been recovered. :)
