  how do I know my selected domain address is confirmed before paying

  Hi there,

  By confirmed, do you mean available?

  Go to My Sites -> Manage -> Domains:

  Register a New Domain

  If the domain name you want to purchase is available, you will be given the opportunity to upgrade or buy it. if not, the message ‘domain’ is taken will appear.

  Please write back if your question hasn’t been answered correctly.

  No. I had managed to get one that was available but was still showing the default domain in the checkout box.

  In any case I went through with the payment and then they fixed the name for me through livechat. Very helpful and quick service.
