  How do I change the domain of my blog to the ‘.wordpress.com’ included? I can see it as an option under Domain Settings, but am unable to select it

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You can change your site address as explained here:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  You can change it to a different .movie.blog address, or to a .wordpress.com address if you prefer.

  Hi, thanks for responding

  When setting up my blog I wasn’t offered a .wordpress.com.option. If I look under domains now, this option is greyed out. Any idea why?

  This page says all blogs should come with a free domain: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/

  When setting up my blog I wasn’t offered a .wordpress.com.option.

  You see the suggestions based on the type of site you set at the beginning of the site creation. You can type the whole address, including .wordpress.com though.

  If I look under domains now, this option is greyed out. Any idea why?

  You’ll want to type in the address to which you’d like to change for the button to become active. Once you’ve typed the desired address you’ll see if it’s available and if it is, you’ll be able to change.
