  I currently have my website through SnapPages, and I’d like to be able to migrate my domain name (which I buy through them) over to a WordPress site. Do you know if this is possible? I can’t get them to respond (one of my reasons for leaving).

  Hi there!

  You can transfer a custom domain to WordPress but you will need to unlock your domain and obtain an auth code and that needs to be done on your current registrar’s side. Here’s more information about transferring a domain to WordPress.com:
