  I’m looking to spend as little money as possible for my website. The only thing I really want it my domain name to be .com. I was just about to buy my domain name from another website and thought maybe I could transfer it over? But is it really worth it to spend $10 for my domain then pay blank amount again on wordpress.

  Note that if you buy a domain somewhere else you can’t transfer it here (or anywhere else for that matter) until you’ve owned it for at least 60 days.
  Note that an upgraded plan Personal or higher here includes the option of a free domain included for the first year.
