  Hello
  I have a query about changing the name of my blog: unevocrmit.wordpress.com
  A colleague of mine (who is also one of the admins on the site) has purchased the domain name unevocrmit.org – however the site has not automatically updated to reflect the new domain name. How do we go about changing this? Thanks

  Hi there,

  Domain Registrations are offered as part of our WordPress.com plans. You will need to have an active plan on your site in order to register a domain.

  @kruttikaphalke – There has actually been a very recent change. unevocrmit.org is working as expected. The update explained below:

  
  @meave87 – Your colleague purchased a domain without a plan which is a feature that we just brought back a few weeks ago. However, you cannot set the domain you purchased as the primary domain without a paid plan. Therefore, it is currently forwarding to unevocrmit.wordpress.com. In order for unevocrmit.org to show in the address bar when someone visits the site, you must purchase a paid plan.
