  Wish to use existing domain name and cancel one inadvertently acquired yesterday

  Hi @mayarob, sure thing. Can you clarify what domain you’re intending to use? I didn’t see any paid domains on this account, and I only see one site.

  When I logged onto WordPress I inadvertently applied for a new domain (suehoperobertson.com). When I go into the WordPress site now it comes up with a single screen referring to this domain only – for which I have not paid because I wish to use my existing domain (suehoperobertson.co.uk) There is no cannot option to get into WordPress without using suehoperobertson.com
  in order to transfer domain name. Does that make sense ?

  The domain you mentioned has not been registered. You have not confirmed your account’s email address – you will need to do that first, before purchasing any upgrade. Please look for the activation email we sent you.

  Once that is done, go to https://wordpress.com/domains/add/suehoperobertson.wordpress.com, at the bottom you should see “Already own a domain?” you will want to click there to map or transfer an existing domain.

  Please note that you will need a paid plan to do be able to do that.
