Domain name

  so i bought a domain and a hosting from Namecheap subscription so start my website building at wordpress but then i come here and it gives me two options 1- connect the domain but wait for 60 days 2- pay money to connect it (90 dollars a year or something). so i thought wordpress is all about purchasing a domain and hosting and then you can start building. can someone explain please?

  If you have a domain and hosting at Namecheap then you need to reach out to them for advice on how to install the wordpress software. You don’t need to be here at WordPress.com at all.
