Domain Name

    Hello, I had got refunded for a subscription and moved to bluehost for hosting and WordPress for building the site. But when I canceled my subscription not even 24 hours after purchase it will not let me use my domain name on bluehost?

    Hi there,

    Please note that when a domain is cancelled it is not immediately returned to public resale. We discuss what happens to cancelled domains in detail here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#cancel-a-domain-name

    Because this is a new domain, typically there is a 5 day delay from the time you cancelled (10/04) to the time it is available to the public again for resale.

    With this in mind you can wait a few more days and you should be able to purchase it again anywhere domains are sold. If you need the domain back sooner than that please let us know and we can invoice you for the registration fee and restore it to your WordPress.com account immediately.
