  Good afternoon,

  I have a domain that ends in .io and WordPress is saying it won’t take it.
  I tried to refund it with Hover so I could get one that works. Unfortunately, they are unable to refund but did say it couldn’t be refunded and to check with WordPress because the site should be able to take it.

  Anyway, please let me know if I am able to and how to connect my .io domain to my site.

  Hi! You actually can connect the domain to the site; we just wouldn’t be able to manage the registration itself. So you’d keep the registration there, but map it here like so:
  http://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Does that work for you?
