  Hi, I refunded my wordpress account because I felt I was rushing into a buying decision before I properly explored the use-case of WordPress. However, I would still like to retain my domain name.

  Unfortunately, the domain came with the account, hence, is now unavailable for me to repurchase. How can I reclaim it? Thanks :)

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again here or somewhere else in future.

  Are you speaking of kimkiran.com?

  If you plan on using that domain somewhere else, we can send you a link to pay for it again, and then restore it to your account.

  Or if you’re willing to wait, the domain should be deleted completely over the weekend, and you should then be able to register it directly where you want to use it early next week.

  Let me know which option you prefer.
