  Do I have to transfer my domain name from GoDaddy
  “ Ripplevine.com.?

  Hi Ripplevine,

  You have a couple options for this, I believe.

  One would be to transfer the domain from GoDaddy to WordPress.com and you can find instructions on how to do that here: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  The other, if you prefer GoDaddy to continue to manage your domain or if it can’t be transferred, would be to map it to WordPress by following the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/
