domain name

  Hello, I am trying to set up a new plan and have mapped my domain name (I already own). However, the site name at check out reads goggleminds.wordpress.com. I do not want the wordpress.com to appear as my domain name is a .co.uk domain name. How do I rectify this? Thanks

  Hi there,

  It looks like you already created your site, found here goggleminds.wordpress.com, so what you can do is follow the steps on this page to finish setting up your mapped domain so that it can display as your WordPress.com site domain. See here:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

  If you have done all of that, now all that’s left is to change your primary domain, otherwise known as, the domain that shows in the browser URL bar at the top. Here are the instructions for that:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#set-a-primary-address

  If neither of these steps work, please post your .co.uk domain here so we can double check the domain’s name servers. Keep in mind, a .co.uk domain cannot be transferred here to WordPress.com, only mapped.
