  We currently have a website which we do not want to remove until this new website is complete. How do I go about this?

  Hi there,

  If you wish you can start your site using the free ‘wordpress.com’ we assign to all sites upon creation. This will allow you to set up the site in private, then when you are ready to launch the WordPress.com site to replace the existing one, all you need to do is map the domain to us.

  As soon as the domain is mapped, your old site will cease to be online and the new WordPress.com site will take over the URL.
