Domain name

  Hi everyone!

  I have a website that’s hosted on godaddy.com, I wish to migrate that site into wordpress.com, keeping my domain on godaddy but using the wordpress hosting service.

  I am currently using a theme which I purchased (Jamsession), I can only use this theme if I subscribe to a wordpress premium plan. My question is – if I migrate to wordpress.com using the premium plan, will I be able to keep my domain name or will it have to be changed? 

  Let’s say my current address is http://example.com/, will this address need to change to http://example.wordpress.com/? Or does this only happen in the cheaper ‘personal’ plan?

  Yes, you will be able to keep your domain name if you have a premium plan.
