Hi, I am not sure why my domain name is thekoofcom.wordpress.com. I do not like having the ‘com’ after ‘thekoof’. Also when I was trying to create an account, I see it already created a free account behind the scenes but I was immediately taken to the different plans and did not know a wordpress domain was automatically created. I was trying to do the $4 a month plan but when I check out it was asked to pay $48 instead of $4. Hoping you can help me change my domain and how can I set up $4 a month?

My domain is already registered as thekoofcom.wordpress.com but I did not add ‘thekoofcom’. I created my account and was looking for a domain while choosing a plan and when he checkout wanted me to pay $48 dollars, I backed out when I realized my domain was created. How can I change my domain so it is ‘thekoof.wordpress.com’?

I watched the video and it won’t let me update my domain to the site without adding a plan. The offer was $4/month for $48 a year. Do I not pay the $4 a month? How does the 1 year free plan work if I am paying $48 at checkout?

I would highly recommend deleting your site, and creating a new site.

Does deleting mean cancelling? If I cancel can I still use the same domain? I read the article and it said sometimes I might not be able to find the domain name.
