Domain Name

  I wanted to know about reusing my old domain name. I have artificiallyawake.wordpress.com and renamed it to artificiallyawakeworker.wordpress.com. I didn’t click to delete the domain name, so it still is listed in my blog list, but I tried changing my domain back to the artificiallyawake.wordpress.com and it won’t let me, stating it is already in use. Can I change it back?

  Howdy,

  When changing a blog’s address, while you can retain the old address for your use, you can’t rename a site back to a previous name.

  You can Export your current site’s posts and Import into the artificiallyawake.wordpress.com site. You would need to re-set your theme, widgets, etc.
