domain name

  hey,

  i’m relatively new to wordpress and just purchased a domain name – roughsociety.net, however this is not yet working and it says webpage can not be found etc. So, I was wondering is this usual? How long does it take for a domain name to become active?

  Any help would be really appreciated.

  Hi Kenny. This is perfectly normal. As a matter of fact, I can see your blog at the new address from where I am (Eastern Canada).

  Wait a couple of hours and you should see it on your end as well.

  I’m on the opposite coast of Canada and I can see the redirect is working fine. You can watch the progress which may take up to 72 hours to complete throughout the internet here. > http://www.whatsmydns.net/
