  Bough a domain name from Godadddy and want to use my that domain name to my this blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Look I have used many tips but all are in waste. I have bought a domain i.e. best-web-designing-company.com and I do have a blog in wordpress i.e. https://bestwebdesigningcompanyforu.wordpress.com
  Now I want my own domain name to my this wordpress blog.
  I spoke to Godaddy customer care and they changed my Name server i.e.
  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
  Now when I go to “Register or Map a Domain Name” in my wordpress account then it show me message that you have to buy this domain name from wordpress.com so that we can change your this subdomain name to your domain name.
  I really don’t know why it happens as I have already bought this domain name from Godaddy.
  After this I spoke to Godaddy customer care once again and they now tell me that you have to change the IP address of your blog in your Godaddy customer account so that we can redirect your wordpress blog to your this domain name that you have purchased domain name from us.
  Guys please help me out. I will be very thrilling for your valuable help.

  You have to buy domain mapping, not the domain itself.

  Because you want to connect a custom domain to a WordPress.com blog. The way to do that is to buy domain mapping.

  then the total cost effect me $19 approx.
  I bought the domain of $5 and the mapping would be $13
  and if I buy directly it from the wordpress then the cost was $13 only
  So I think it was my mistake that I bought the domain from Godaddy

  No. If you buy it from WP.com the cost of the domain is $5 and the cost of the mapping is $13. Same price either way.
