Domain Name

  I registered my domain name of https://kalamundamusicacademy.wordpress.com

  I then payed $99 for the upgrade to remove the ‘wordpress’ part of the domain name but I don’t know how to remove it. I want my domain name to only say kalamundamusicacademy.com

  Having paid that money I would have hoped the ‘wordpress’ part of the domain name would automatically be removed.

  Any help asap would be great.

  Hi there,

  I see your domain is displaying properly now: http://kalamundamusicacademy.com/

  All custom domains at WordPress.com are mapped to an underlying .wordpress.com URL that you will still see in your Dashboard. If your domain were to expire, your content would still be there at the original URL. But your readers will only see the custom domain.
