Please help me. Is it possible to take my domain name in WordPress.com and transfer it to WordPress.org? That way I can add content I would not be able to add?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Leslie,
Yes, to move your blog to a self-hosted site, you’ll first need to obtain web hosting. We have some recommendations here:
http://get.wp.com/hosting/We have a guide for moving your site here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-orgYou can move your domain to your new site in this way:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/I’m curious why you want to move to .org? There might be a way to do what you’re after here.

I am confused. I thought I purchased a domain name. Can you find it for me? I did not see that it was working? My reason for moving from WordPress.com to WordPress.org was so that I could do more as far as adding content that I could not do with WordPress.com Personalizing it, adding ads… and such.
I am new to all of this!
Thanks for your help.

Hi Leslie,
You did register a domain, and it’s working properly here: http://footballgirl.co/
Frankly, if you are quite new to this, I would not recommend moving to WordPress.org right now. You can read more about the differences here:
http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/11/14/com-or-org/Because you have the Custom Design upgrade, you can customize your theme however you like:
Custom DesignIf you’re interested in ads, we have an advertising program you can apply for here: http://wordads.co/
If you do decide that you need to move, the first step is to obtain hosting elsewhere. Most of these hosts have a one-click installation of WordPress:
