  how do i find out who owns a domain name? i have tried to register our company name but it says it is always being used. please help.

  You can perform a whois lookup by entering the URL here: http://www.whoishostingthis.com/

  Keep in mind the current owners might have private registration enabled, in which case you’ll not see their contact details, but the details of their private registration provider.
