  I cancelled my WordPress business account, and still can’t register my domain name elsewhere. It says domain name not available, but when I type the domain name into the address bar, it redirects me to a WordPress page, saying it does not exist.

  Could you please help me sort the issue? So I can register my chosen domain name elsewhere?

  If you cancel your domain here there is no guarantee you’ll be able to register it elsewhere, so I wouldn’t advise that. However, if you no longer want your domain with WordPress.com you can transfer it to another registrar without cancelling it.
