Domain Name

  Ok so I have a domain already owned “www.domain.com”

  Now I would like to make another site off of this and call it “blog.domain.com”

  I want to use both these as two separate sites. One for blog and one for official company website.

  Should I just purchase the domain upgrade and add in “blog.domain.com” and it will do what I need.

  My fear is that it will overwrite the “www.domain.com” and I do not want that website to be touched.

  Sorry if this is a dumb question but anything will help as I am limited in what I know about wordpress. Thanks

  If you already own domain.com, what you need to do is set up a subdomain through your existing host provider (blog.domain.com) and then purchase domain mapping here and point your blog to the subdomain. That’s what I did.
