  I bought domain name through WordPress and immediately canceled because I realized that WordPress did not have some of the features I wanted. I want to use that same domain elsewhere but I can’t right now. How can I get that domain name back?

  Hi there,

  Please note that when you cancel a domain it is not automatically released to the public. It may take a couple weeks. We recommend that you keep the domain registered with us, and just point the nameservers to your new host. Then after the ICANN 60 day lock is over you can transfer the domain elsewhere.

  Since you already canceled it, we can try bringing it back from cancellation. Would you like to do this or wait until it’s release?
