  Hello I just received a mail from wordpress asking me to pay for my domain name renewal tooistanbul.com, the thing is that my wordpress website is now in wordpress.org and I already paid for my domain name last week.

  Why should I re-pay again and do I have to, considering I moved my blog on wordpress.org last year.

  Hi there,

  Please note that your domain: tooistanbul.com is still registered with us. It is just pointing to your WordPress.org self-hosted site. If you want your site to remain up the registration needs to be renewed as well as your hosting.

  If you let your domain lapse, your WordPress.org site will go down. So, please go to Store > My Upgrades here to renew the domain:

  https://tooistanbul.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades

  If you no longer want to register the domain with us at WordPress.com, you can transfer out the domain using this guide:
