Domain name

I tried to change my domain web address and username today and it didn’t work like I would like it to. So I changed it back to my current one.
I then use another email address to create another WordPress account and the web address that I originally wanted was gone and it said that it was ‘reserved’. How do I release it or how do I change my domain name and username.
I went back this account and tried to change it again and now it comes up with ‘its already taken’.
Please help!

Unfortunately, if a domain is reserved or already taken you won’t be able to get that domain on wordpress.com. :( You’ll need to alter the domain a bit (e.g. instead of “coolname.wordpress.com” try “coolname23.wordpress.com”) or find a different one that is not already taken. If you want to create a domain that does not have wordpress.com in it (e.g. “coolname.com”) you can follow these directions:

Help!
Bought my domain via wordpress upgrade. Then migrated to self hosted site.
Now domain is up for renewal but I can’t get the renewal tab either thru wordpress (does not show) or thru hosting siteexpiration in24 hrs.
Help!

Please start a new topic in the forums. You can tag it “modlook” so that someone from staff can assist you. Also you’ll receive the best help by providing as much information as possible. From what you describe above it’s difficult to know exactly what is going on. Describe what kind of upgrade you got, what site you migrated to, include URLs and exactly what you are trying to accomplish.
