  My employee requested a refund from our business plan. He made a mistake and also requested to get a refund for our domain name!
  Is there any way I can buy this domain name again or is it locked until my actual subscription expired (September 2022)

  Wait: You can wait about five days from cancellation for the domain to be released. So long as no one else buys it before you do, you can purchase it again with another provider.

  Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice and restore the domain. You’ll be able to point it to a new host as soon as it’s restored, then transfer the registration after 60 days.

  Repurchase a Plan: To host your site here after all, buy an annual plan, skip the domain option, then update us here.

  Thank you, for now I will wait and see. When will I know when the domain will be released? Will it be available everywhere?

  It’s typically 5 days from cancel, but there’s no harm in trying to register it as a new domain once a day. If no one else registers it before you, you’ll eventually be able to recover it.
