Domain name

I registered a domain through google domains before realizing I could have just done it through wordpress. I canceled it and the rep from google confirmed that it had been released and I could now register it through WordPress, but when I go to add the domain, it shows it is taken even though a search online will show it as available. Any idea why it’s doing this and what I can do to register the domain through wordpress?

I see that you were able to register the domain with us. Great! Sometimes it takes a moment for the registration to clear completely on our end after you delete it somewhere else. But I’m glad everything worked out!
