  Hi

  I purchased a domain from GoDaddy and I want to bring it over to my existing free word press account. how do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can follow the instructions at the following links to move your domain to the site:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-subdomain/#scenario2

  You need a plan to map the domain, even if it’s as simple as getting the Personal Plan.

  Hi there,

  I just wanted to add that it’s not possible to transfer the domain to WordPress.com at present. You will need to leave the domain registered with GoDaddy and to pay them for its renewal every year. The domain mapping is merely to connect the domain on our end.
