domain name and blog name

    Hi there,
    So I don’t want to mess anything up. I have had a domain name of http://www.radontestinginma.com for several years and want to add a blog to my site. I just signed up for premier and wanted my blog name to be blog.radontestinginma.com I don’t know how to do that. I had set up a free WP site initially and never used it. I am not sure how to fix this if it needs to be fixed but want to change the name of the blog and don’t know how to access all this. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Laura, no problem. I’m switching your mapping from radontestinginma.com to blog.radontestinginma.com .

    You’ll also want to log into your host or domain provider and add the following record:

    in CNAME blog.radontestinginma.com points to radontestinginmablogpost.wordpress.com

    That way your domain will know to send any visitors to blog over to our servers.

    When that’s done, wait a few hours, then make your new blog.radontestinginma.com name primary here:
    https://wordpress.com/domains
