Domain name and hosting

  I have a domain name and hosting right now through Dream Host. However I find it extremely difficult to work through their site and design a blog powered by WordPress. Can I just upgrade my WordPress plan to the Premium plan and get the domain name transferred over, and cut out the hosting site altogether? Does the Premium plan include hosting?

  Any plan you purchase with WordPress.com includes hosting and the ability to use a custom domain name. You can move your domain name from Dream Host to WordPress.com following the steps of this support document.
