Domain name and SEO

    The main point of our blog is make http://www.skiptrip.se rank better with Google. The blog makes it easy for me to make updates and add text to our web. Today the blog is accessible under nyheter.skiptrip.se, however I was just told that the name structure is bad for SEO, instead we should use skiptrip.se/nyheter. Is this correct? Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

    I don’t think so. At any rate, it’s not possible to map a subdirectory (rather than a subdomain) to WordPress.com. According to Google’s Matt Cutts, there’s really no difference:
