domain name and .wordpress.com names don’t match

  • Hi, I see you’ve successfully canceled peacefulcrossinginhome.com on your @k9feldr account. Now, you only have peacefulcrossingathome.com under your @k9feldr1 account.

Please note that if you want to make peacefulcrossingathome.com your site’s primary address, you’ll have to upgrade to one of our plans. Otherwise, the domain will redirect to your site’s free address (peacefulcrossingathome.wordpress.com).

If you have any other questions, just let me know, and I’ll be happy to help.

Thank you. I think I’m good. I deleted the 2 sites I didn’t want. Why would someone want 2 ways to log in to the same account?
I see when I upgraded to business plan, it applied to both of the accounts. So they’re really like 1 account with 2 log-ins?

  • Okay – I want to summarize and make sure everything is how you want it.

Looking at the 2 different user accounts, one at a time, I can see:

    k9feldr

    – peacefulcrossinginhome.wordpress.com has been deleted. The business plan that was purchased for this site address has been cancelled and refunded.

    – peacefulcrossinginhomecom.wordpress.com was the second site address registered to this account. A domain (peacefulcrossinginhome.com) was registered to this site address under the same account, that domain registration was cancelled, we issued a refund, and then peacefulcrossinginhomecom.wordpress.com was deleted.

There are no active sites on this account any longer.

    The second account:
    k9feldr1

Here, you have peacefulcrossingathome.wordpress.com which is connected to peacefulcrossingathome.com and there’s also a business plan added.

Now that the accounts and sites and domains and plans (all the things) are sorted out, you can get started on building the site. Did you plan to do this yourself? We have a small team that specializes in building the site. You can learn more about that option here: https://builtbywp.com/ And let us know if you need any further help.
