Domain Name Bought Out from Underneath Me, Trying to Connect Blog to New Domain

    Hey there,

    So several months back (in October, I think) someone bought my domain name curvy-canadian.com, out from underneath me, as I wasn’t aware my registration had lapsed. Now I am trying to make my blog available at a new url, http://www.karenelizabethward.com, but I am having so many issues. When I try to go in to the WP Admin for the blog so I can change the settings to the new URL, it keeps telling me that Jetpack needs to be updated (I have version 3.3 I think) but when I try to update it, it just redirects me to the new content up on http://www.curvy-canadian.com, and doesn’t update anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello,

    The domain curvy-canadian.com expired and wasn’t renewed so it was released — which is when someone else would have been able to purchase it.

    As curvy-canadian.com is no longer owned and operated by you, I have removed the Jetpack connection to your WordPress.com account. This should stop the update messages you were seeing.

    Let me know if you have any more problems.
