Domain name – by eliminating the wordpress within the address and redirecting

  Hi. I’d like to change my current onlinelearninginsights.wordpress.com to onlinelearninginsights.com. Can I do this, and if so, do I need to pay for the re-direct service which sends my traffic from oli….wordpress.com to the new address without the .wordpress.com in the address?

  I need help with the blog hobstafford. I need to delete theblog completely and I cannot because it comes up with this message when I try and delete;
  Warning! You cannot delete a blog if the blog has a domain registration upgrade. You must have access to the blog in order to get to the domain manager.

  If you do not want to use your blog any more please make it private. Other users won’t be able to visit the blog but you can still access the Dashboard so you can get to the domain manager.

  I have no idea what to do next so that I can delete the blog.
  If anyone can help I’d be grateful.
