domain name .ca & wordpress adress

  1) is it possible to transfert domain name “.ca” ? i read that int’l domain name are not supported.

  2) Also, i want to re-activate laviateur.wordpress.com and i’m not allow. All i can have is laviateurmedia.wordpress.com. But i initially create the first one.

  Excuse my english, i speak french :)

  1) Yes, it is possible.

  2) Staff may resurrect it or they may not.

  Hi there,

  You are welcome to use a domain name ending in .ca here at WordPress.com. However, you cannot register a new domain name with that ending here.

  First, you will need to register the domain name with another domain registrar. Then, you can map the domain to your WordPress.com site with this guide: Map an Existing Domain

  I see that you used to own the blog at laviateur.wordpress.com but you then deleted it. Deleting a blog is permanent and can’t be undone, and you can’t reuse the blog address once it is deleted. We include warnings about this when you delete a blog.

  If you use a custom domain with your blog, though, it won’t matter what .wordpress.com address you have. Visitors will only see the custom domain.
