Domain Name.. Can Take With?

  Just curious.. I plan to get my domain name tomorrow (with mapping and such it’s $18 a year I believe?) just wondering.. if you get it through WordPress, say later on you decide to leave wordpress and start your own site elsewhere (I’m not, but just wondering before I do it) do you still have that domain name always or is it only through wordpress? Thanks!

  You can keep the registration here if you want and change the name servers to point to your new host or after 60 days (internet rule) you can transfer the domain name registration to another registrar

  OK great. So if I get it here, no matter what I want to do in the future, I can always keep the domain name, whether I stay with WordPress or not. I don’t have plans to at all right now, (just got here and am loving it!) I was just wondering.
