Domain name cancellation

  Hi,
  I got a domain name through a free premium trial, after a bit of research I decided I want to host my website on a different site and use wordpress just to make it. The hosting site I chose will give me a free domain name. I would still like to use the domain I reserved through my premium trial, so I cancelled my premium trial and domain name registration.

  It has been a day and it still isn’t available again for use, I am wondering how long it will take to become available?

  Hey there!

  When you register a domain, and cancel it quickly, the registrar flags it for possible abuse or spam. Generally, when this is the case (as it is with your domain), the domain can be released after 5 days.
