  Hi, I’ve cancelled my domain name the day I made it for various reasons. Next day it is still pending, when am I going to get my refund? Thanks

  I checked and your domain 7bit9.com wasn’t cancelled. Sorry for the trouble! Do you want me to cancel and refund that domain name for you?

  Please keep in mind that canceling a domain means you give up ownership of that domain name. The domain name may not be released immediately, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again in the future.

  If you’d like to keep the domain and use it somewhere else, you can Move Your Domain to Another Host instead.

  Yes that would be great. It has been several days of waiting. I’ve cancelled it during the first hour of making it. Since then, I’ve been waiting patiently for the refund. Thank you in advance!

  Thanks for confirming that! I canceled and refunded the domain 7bit9.com for you, so that’s all done now. It may take some time for that refund to appear on your bank statement, but you can find the refund receipt now in your Billing History.

  Hi, I hope you don’t mind, would it be alright to unlock the domain name and have it transferred despite having been cancelled? I’d like to transfer it to another web domain host to keep things at a minimum.

  I have been informed of the 60-day rule. So I know this is too much of a hassle, but is it possible to re-purchase it back instead if the above is not possible? So sorry for all the mishaps, I just need this site up and running asap.

  Hi there,

  Once a domain is cancelled, you no longer own it so there’s no way to transfer it or use it somewhere else. (That’s why I wanted to check about that before canceling the domain earlier.)

  If you don’t want to wait for the domain to be fully canceled and released, I can try to recover that domain for you so you can re-purchase it here. I just sent you an email with more details about that process — you can reply directly to that email if you have any questions about it. :)
