Domain name cancellation

  I had a WordPress website, and just cancelled the domain name because I made a new website elsewhere and want to use the address for the new website. But now, the address doesn’t seem to be available, and I don’t know what to do about it.
  This is the address I need: http://euromarrakechtraduction.com

  Once canceled, domain registrars will hold onto the domain for a few weeks as an anti fraud measure. You will be able to register it once it is released, assuming that nobody registeres it before you.

  If you like, I can try and reverse the cancellation. I will let you know if I am successful, it typically takes 12-48 hours.

  Then you will be able to use the domain here on WordPress.com or point your domain to a new webhost using these instructions:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  Or, once 60 days have passed, you can transfer registration to a different domain registrar using these instructions:

  Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  Hello!
  I had no idea the domain would be unavailable for so long. This is my company website, I can’t have it offline for so long, so please try to reverse the cancellation.

  Hi @euromarrakechtraduction,

  Happy to inform you that the domain has been restored now.

  You deleted all the sites under your account, so the domain can’t be managed as it’s not linked to anything.

  First, can you create a new free .wordpress.com address from: https://signup.wordpress.com/start

  Once done, let us know and we’ll link the domain to it. Then, you can change its “name servers” or DNS records and point it to a different host/server.

  Hello!
  If I understand this correctly, the domain is still linked to the address euromarrakechtraduction.wordpress.com but this site doesn’t exist any more, and I can’t recreate one under the same address.
  I juste created an empty blog under a similar address: https://euromarrakechtraductionsite.wordpress.com/ During this time, we have been provisionally using the address euromarrakechtraduction.net, so if you can link the domain euromarrakechtraduction.com to the new blog we will the redirect it to the .net address.

  I don’t know whether this is possible, but if you could redirect the domain euromarrakechtraduction.com directly to euromarrakechtraduction.net it would be even better.
