Domain name change

Hi. I have started setting up my site on WordPress. I chose a domain name that i now want to change. I want to close down my previous website with another provider so that I can then hopefully transfer the domain name I have been using. Please could you delete my acconts so that can start again? Or is there another way i can change my domain name please?

You don’t need to delete your account to transfer your domain to WordPress.com
Under same account you can register domain name you have bought from elsewhere.
