Domain Name Change

  Hi. I already have a free WordPress domain ‘www.gollywogmusings.wordpress.com’ with my free plan. However, I wish to upgrade to the Personal Plan. is it possible to change my domain name to something different? for eg. ‘ilovetravelling.com’ while upgrading my plan?

  Yes. Many people upgrade to a paid plan to get a custom domain name, as well as other useful stuff like no adverts.
  However you may need to choose a different address (unless you were the one that created it back in 2010) as ilovetravelling already exists with a .com suffix.

  Also, do i get get to choose the domain name once the payment goes through for the upgrade? And will my existing content be linked to the new domain?
